Behind the scenes straightening with Incognito in Weybridge

People have been trying to straighten wonky teeth for centuries and in that time, braces have changed enormously. Today, we have ways to straighten teeth that allow you to keep your dental business to yourself.

Incognito in WeybridgeYou have probably heard about discreet braces and clear aligners. Aligners go over the teeth. Discreet braces are smaller than normal and go on the front of the teeth. They are great systems, but generally speaking, they can’t cope with complex or severe straightening issues.

For those, you still need to have metal bracket and wire braces because they are more able to deliver targeted, accurate results. What are you going to do if you have such misalignment issues and don’t want to wear clunky metal braces on the front of your teeth?

Well, don’t worry that you will have to wear metal braces that show. Here at Weybridge Orthodontics, we have a really great braces system that can help you. Incognito in Weybridge is a 100% customised braces system that can deal with even the most complex alignment problems.

Incognito in Weybridge is different because it has fully customised brackets, wires and bonding trays that are designed to fit each of your individual teeth. And the beauty of them is that they go on the tongue-side of your teeth, and so they are completely hidden from view.

Consultation

When you come to Weybridge Orthodontics for Incognito in Weybridge, we will take detailed measurements of the inside of your mouth using a scanner. This builds up a picture of your mouth that we can display on a nearby screen. From this, we can run a programme that allows you to see how Incognito will gently move your teeth into a lovely straight smile.

Treatment

Once we have fitted your Incognito braces, it will take a few days to get used to wearing them but you will soon adjust to eating and cleaning and speaking with them in place.

You will come back every few weeks to get them adjusted to keep up the alignment pressure. After the braces come off, you will need to wear a retainer to keep your smile in place while your teeth and bone settle into their new arrangement.
