Well then, here’s your chance to find out more! Incognito is a brand of fixed braces, but not as you know them. Instead of having the brackets and wire on the front surfaces of your teeth, they go on the inside, adjacent to your tongue. This means they are completely hidden from view.
The brackets look a bit different too. They are made of gold alloy for starters and each one fits over the entire surface of your tooth. They take a bit longer to make as each bracket is custom-made from detailed measurements to exactly fit each tooth.
Because you have a bracket on each tooth, Incognito in Weybridge works really well to correct complex alignment problems. Such issues take longer to correct as the teeth have to be moved in order. The biological processes involved in moving teeth – the dissolution and rebuilding of bone around the tooth to allow it to move – cannot be hurried. Because of this, complex issues can take a good couple of years to sort out, but with your braces hidden from view, that’s not such a big deal.
