Invisalign: a subtler route to straighter teeth

Invisalign affords your dentist or orthodontist a subtler way to straighten your teeth. At Weybridgedental practice Surrey Braces, we have helped many patients to improve the alignment of their smile, and with it boost their self-esteem, with the help of this system of custom-made clear aligners.

Invisalign in Weybridge

invisalignIf you are interested in teeth-straightening treatment, perhaps having missed out on orthodontics as a youngster or having had treatment only to suffer adult relapse, we invite you to join us at our Weybridgedental practice for an Invisalign consultation.

We believe that dental treatment should work with your lifestyle, whilst also achieving excellent results. For adult patients interested in teeth straightening, we often find that Invisalign provides the perfect solution. Unlike some other cosmetic orthodontic systems, which focus only on the front teeth, these aligners can correct a wider range of orthodontic concerns.

When you come into our clinic you will be seen by an experienced orthodontist, who will perform a detailed clinical examination to assess your suitability for this treatment. Thanks to the advanced computer software that backs up Invisalign, they will be able to show you exactly what results you can expect right from the outset.

How treatment works

Treatment with Invisalign involves using a series of clear aligners that are made to fit comfortably over your teeth, gently guiding them into a new position. The exact number of aligners required varies on a case-to-case basis and will be discussed by your orthodontist at your initial consultation.

You need to change your aligner every two weeks as your teeth start to move, and you will need to come for periodic check-ups at our Weybridgedental practice to ensure that your treatment is progressing as predicted.

The aligners are clear and removable, meaning that you can take them out for short periods to eat, clean, and brush your teeth. You should wear them for approximately 22 hours a day.
